What kind of questions are in the LLN Quiz?

The Online LLN Quiz is a quiz developed by The Learning Resources Group to provide an indication of a person's Learning, Reading, Writing, Oral Communication and Numeracy Skills aligned to the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF).

Questions range from match items, re-order items, point & click, multiple choice and text entry.

Each question is randomly selected from a bank of questions relevant to the core skill and level. This means you will answer a different set of questions each time the quiz is taken.

Can I do the quiz on my phone?

No. The quiz must be completed on a tablet or computer. Phone screens are too small for the quiz to display properly.

How do I get my results?

On completion of the quiz, the results will be sent to you via the email you added when you entered your details.

You can add a second or alternate email to have the results sent to a training company or college as well if you like.

What do my results mean?

Your results are a score out of 5 (based on the 5 levels in the ACSF). A score of 3 in any of the core skills indicates an average day-to-day level of ability. The maximum score you can get is a 4 out of 5 in our Advanced LLN Quiz.

The results are not about passing or failing. They are used by training organisations to identify areas where you may need additional help in your studies. If you have any questions about your results, please contact the training company or college you are enrolling with.
